Grace is seeking a Global Materials Management (MM) Leader to join our Supply Chain Center of Excellence (COE) who will report to the SAP Production Planner Leader based at our corporate headquarters in Columbia, MD.As the Global MM Leader and member of the Supply Chain COE, you will actively lead and drive a culture of global design and process discipline. The successful candidate will have a mix of technical expertise as well as strong influencing skills and a passion for driving results. You will be responsible for developing and managing the Global Design for MM, including organization, policies, and processes to ensure the best possible utilization of production/materials management resources and optimized inventory levels. You will interface and influence global stakeholders in Supply Chain, Finance/Accounting, Plant Managers, and Business Leaders ensuring effective and timely materials planning, inventory movements, and delivery management.The ideal candidate will work from our Columbia, MD office, with relocation assistance available. An optional location is our downtown Houston office; however, relocation is not offered for this location. We offer a hybrid work schedule, M/Wed/Thurs in office, Tues/Fri from home. Travel up to 30% is expected and may include international.Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and sustain the MM Global Design, incorporating policies, processes, and work instructions, integrating with other functions to ensure enterprise-wide solutions. Drive process standardization at a global level.Identify best practices and implement best-in-class solutions around the use of SAP/MRP, requisition to PO processes within MRP, and materials management processes at various US and global locations.Develop and socialize multi-year roadmaps to support the overall Supply Chain COE vision; Integrate with Data Integrity, Procurement, Production Planning, and S&OP.Collaborate across work streams to align processes, identify dependencies, and establish governance controls and metrics to drive sustainability. Critical partners include Operations, Sales and Operations Planning, Production Planning Process Leader, Plant Accounting, and Global Procurement.Manage Systems (ECC MRP and MDG Tool) and Processes from an MM perspective to support the Supply Chain COE vision. Actively manage ECC MRP with support and partnership from IT. Partner with Demand Management/Production Planning Process Leader and IBP (Integrated Business Planning) to ensure a cohesive solution.Identify gaps in systems such as SAP-ECC, SAP-PP/DS, warehouse management system, inventory recording and reporting, shop floor records and recommend/implement solutions to solve business issues.Assist in the development of Inventory Optimization strategies (e.g., IBP, Supply Planning) to support business growth while managing overall inventory levels. This is a global effort.Support inventory improvement projects and cost reduction.Develop and conduct appropriate education and training to ensure capability and process discipline. Develop ways to monitor process discipline.Own the success of project plans, ensuring progress on not only deadlines but quality of deliverables.Required Qualifications

B.S. degree is highly preferred; however, in lieu of degree will consider candidates with relevant work experience.8-10 years’ experience within Supply Chain that demonstrates career trajectory.Experience managing global initiatives that integrate policies, processes, and technology.Strong project management skills, defined as developing action plans, identifying deliverables, and presenting results.Critical thinker & problem solver, with the ability to think through process solutions while balancing current capabilities with the ability to analyze for potential future issues.Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and influence to drive results.Excellent communication skills: ability to manage at all levels of the organization, from shop floor to high-level leadership; ability to use the right combination of discretion, judgment, and tact to get teams to move forward.Ability to develop appropriate education and training vehicles and effectively execute, including but not limited to, classroom training, 1x1 coaching/mentoring.Preferred Qualifications

M.S. Degree; Focus on Supply Chain and/or process improvement.Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement training.Understanding of SAP-ECC (especially MRP), SAP APO-PPDS, any other subsystems and IT associated with MM.Deep knowledge of Material Master settings, requisition to PO process, and inventory management.Benefits
