We are seeking a skilled and motivated

Salesforce System Administrator / Business Analyst

to join our dynamic team. As a Salesforce System Administrator, you will be responsible for the efficient implementation, configuration, optimization, and management of the Salesforce CRM platform for NET Power. The successful candidate will have a record of success in leveraging the Salesforce platform to provide business solutions while following best practices for Salesforce. You will work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify, develop, and deploy new business processes. This role is part technical project manager, part administrator, and part Salesforce.com analyst.This position will be based in our Houston, Texas office.ResponsibilitiesSalesforce Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize Salesforce to optimize user experience and meet business requirements. This includes creating custom objects, fields, workflows, page layouts, and validation rules. Implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.User Support and Training: Provide ongoing support and training to Salesforce users, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools to effectively utilize the platform. Address user inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance on best practices. Grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization.Data Management: Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the Salesforce system. Perform data imports, updates, and de-duplication. Establish and maintain data quality standards and processes.System Maintenance: Perform regular system audits, upgrades, and maintenance tasks. Backup data, apply system updates, and enhance security measures. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with IT team as needed.Reports and Dashboards: Train and assist users in developing reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to provide key insights to stakeholders. Define and document best practices for Salesforce platform usage, deployments, change management, and maintenance.Integration and Automation: Collaborate with business and development teams to integrate Salesforce with other systems and applications. Identify opportunities for automation and streamline processes using Salesforce features and tools.Documentation: Document system configuration, processes, and user guidelines. Keep documentation up-to-date and accessible for users and stakeholders.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum three years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM201 and ADM211) required.Sales Cloud and Developer certifications preferred.Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality.Proficient in Salesforce configuration, customization, and data management.Experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience and Salesforce AppExchange.Demonstrated track record of defining systems that lead to increased efficiency and productivity using technology.Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.Excellent analytical, communication (both verbal and written), and organizational skills.Strategic thinking and a strong business acumen.Comfortable learning, using, and explaining new technology.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Additional RequirementsWork effectively in an office environment.Operate at a computer and sit for long periods of time.Repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands, or fingers.Lift up to 15 lbs.What NET Power Offers YouAmazing growth and learning opportunities.Comprehensive benefits package.401K with company contribution.Generous vacation policy.Catered in-office lunches.Be a part of changing the world.NET Power is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
