Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is experiencing exciting success and sustainable growth in Florida, successfully winning work throughout central Florida. As a result, we have a full-time position available for a senior civil/environmental project manager. Our project managers lead projects and serve as engineer of record and/or technical lead on municipal civil/water resources, stormwater, and water/wastewater projects. Responsibilities include managing:Watershed masterplansFlood alleviation improvementsWater quality/treatment improvementsStormwater pump stationsSite civilWater/wastewater pipelinesWater/wastewater pump stationsMinor transportation improvementsOther similar type projectsAdditional responsibilities include assisting municipal clients with identifying, pursuing and administering grants and other funding; assisting clients with bidding of construction projects; assisting the business development team in pursuing client and project opportunities; mentoring staff; and assisting leadership in identifying and pursuing new technology and other innovations. Travel will be required.The successful candidate must have: a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil, environmental, or related engineering from an accredited school or college
and
at least ten years of relevant work experience;
OR
if no degree, at least fourteen years of relevant work experience.The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:Florida PE licenseProficiency with stormwater/water resources designProficiency with potable/reclaimed/wastewater distribution/collection designProficiency with minor transportation designBusiness development experienceCivil/Water Resources construction experienceThe ideal candidate will also be a Certified Flood Manager and/or Envision Sustainability Professional.If you have strong communication and organizational skills, are self-motivated, and can work well both independently and as part of a team, complete the online application process for this job posting at
