NoDuties and Responsibilities

Summary:

Under general direction, this position will provide administrative support to the School of Law JD Admission and Scholarships Office, performing various and complex duties to ensure the smooth daily operation of the office.Assist in the administration of recruiting, outreach and yield for all aspects of the JD program.Provide front desk support and act as initial point of contact from inquiry through enrollment for prospective students. Responsible for administrative duties related to the office, including daily processing, maintaining inventory of office supplies and admission materials, processing mail and troubleshooting issues related to office equipment.Interact with prospective students, route emails and phone calls to the appropriate staff member when needed.Respond to and process prospect inquiries. Assist prospective students with general questions about the application process and admission requirements. Assist with prospective student virtual and on-campus visits.Maintain electronic applicant files and track all applications through the cycle. Utilize online and computer-based technology to communicate and exchange data with the Law School Admission Council and to the School of Law Registrar.Assist with organization of virtual and off-campus recruitment events, recordings and management of participant data. Manage shipment of recruiting materials.Assist with coordination of logistics for virtual or on-campus admission events. Participate in virtual or on-campus recruitment and yield events as needed.Provide assistance with maintaining work schedules and general oversight of work of student workers.Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum Education and/or Work Experience

Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years relevant experience.Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

Bachelor's degree and 1 - 3 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Excellent customer service skills. Proficient computer skills and ability to learn student information systems.Preferred qualifications:Experience working with diverse populations.Prioritization and managing competing goals effectively. Organizational skills and attention to detail.Demonstrated excellent written, oral, interpersonal communication skills, and a positive collegial attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Availability to work unusual or extended hours as needed.Certificates/Credentials/Licenses
