Records Retention Manager

to join our team! The individual in this key position will oversee the management of digital and/or paper-based records, identify the most appropriate records management resources, design and develop filing systems and business classification schemes, and undertake records surveys.In this role, you will develop a cooperative, working relationship with each department/program to identify and transfer records to the appropriate solution (digital or destruction) and advise on new records management policies, providing a framework to guide Easterseals employees in the management of their records and use the employer’s records system. This role reports directly to the Compliance Officer.Additional responsibilities include:Set up and review documenting records and classification schemes;Adhere or update retention and disposal schedules;Have a working knowledge and understanding of SharePoint as a content management tool;Standardize information sources throughout the organization;Manage the changeover from paper to electronic records and management systems;Liaison with vendors to carry out digitization, storage and/or destruction services;Respond to information inquiries, giving appropriate access to information with required timescales;Liaise with information governance teams to ensure the correct handling, safeguarding, and delivery of information;Ensure compliance and adherence to relevant legislation, regulations and policies.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree PreferredMinimum 5 years’ experience in a healthcare/social service industryFamiliarity with SharePoint and document managementProficient in Word, Excel, PP and AdobeValid Driver’s License and reliable transportationHours:

This is a full-time, 40 hour/week position.Compensation:
