Account Executive

for our Security business segment.

The

Senior Account Executive

is responsible for building relationships with wholesale producers of Security casualty business to generate submission flow, for the evaluation, underwriting, quoting, and binding of new and renewal Security submissions, and for building, developing and managing a significant book of business within the Security Program. The successful candidate will have a minimum of seven to ten (7-10) years of experience with a carrier, MGA or other insurance producer underwriting general liability accounts in a specialty industry. Established relationships in the wholesale broker community and a willingness to devote time and energy to growing external relationships while managing a high volume of submission flow is preferred.

Responsibilities

Engage in primary and referral level account evaluation, application of terms, pricing, risk selection and documentation

Provide a superior customer experience

Execute underwriting guidelines and ensure compliance with insurer policies, processes, and risk appetite

Demonstrate the ability to drive product, service, selection, pricing and innovation for the Contractors segment

The individual in this position must have strong inter-personal communication skills and organizational skills. In addition, the individual must demonstrate the following skills:

Knowledge of standardized workflows, roles and responsibilities, and compliance requirements

Extensive knowledge of insurance coverages and general market conditions

Knowledge of combined coverage forms including Commercial General Liability forms

Knowledge of primary and/or excess general liability risk evaluation

Ability to organize work and perform within time constraints

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated management skills, flexibility to meet changing demands and strong decision-making ability

High proficiency in math, typing, Microsoft Word & Excel and other computer software & systems

Negotiation skills

Bachelors degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university

Ability and willingness to travel
