Hayward, CA (Bay Area)IDN is a leading distributor of security hardware, access control systems, video surveillance equipment, doors & frames, locksmithing tools, and related security products.Job Description:Based in Hayward (Bay Area), CA, the individual in this position is responsible for providing superior service to customers throughout the Bay Area including San Francisco and Sacramento.Responsibilities include the following:Assisting customers by phone and in person (for walk-in traffic/counter sales)Using the computer system to provide information on price and availabilityOrder processing and related customer assistance, including handling stock orders, processing special orders, presenting promotions, handling customer returns, and related tasks.Manufacturer/vendor contact for factory ordersExcel in a team-oriented work environment — working with branch staff to exceed customer expectations and support customer retention goals and company/branch growth objectives.Key Working Relationships:The successful candidate will report to the Inside Sales Manager at IDN-Bay Area and work closely with other staff members and the local Outside Sales representative.Requirements:Must be self-driven & hardworking1 to 3 years Inside Sales/ Customer Service experience (distribution industry preferred)Experience with MS Office products (Word, Excel)Strong organizational skills with an ability to multi-taskTeam playerAll qualified applicants that apply for IDN Global, Inc. will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
