This position reports to

Global Marketing & Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also identify and develop new sales opportunities. The work model for the role is remote (Li-Remote), but the preferred living location is Atlanta, as you will cover the southeastern ABB territory. You will be mainly accountable for:Communicating to customers about delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy.Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicating the value proposition to customers.Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting cash collection and project management activities when needed.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline and/or advanced business degree. Others considered based on applicable industry experience.Minimum 5 years experience in sales with a successful track record and tangible results working with third-party channel partners, relevant consultants, contractors, distributors, and end users in the data center, critical power, power quality, or related industries, as well as a thorough understanding of the customer base and channel in the assigned region.Strong knowledge of the electrical power industry.Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office essentials & Salesforce.com.Ability to travel regularly.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
