Are you a Trailblazer Business Development Executive with demonstrated experience selling to federal government (defense and civilian) agencies? If you are someone who likes to find a new challenge and build something, then we have a great opportunity for you to join our Business Development team.The position is focused on growing our current business base within Civilian health and/or Defense Health agencies with a primary focus on the Departments of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Departments of Defense (DHA, DHMS and services), and Veterans Affairs in areas of information technology, training, data management and analytics, and program management.As a Federal Health Account Executive, you will:Develop and take ownership of an account strategy for growth and subsequently executing that strategy to win new business in the Federal Health segment - (HHS, DOD, VA etc)Ensure that AMERICAN SYSTEMS is viewed favorably and a partner of choice in the eyes of both the customer and teaming partnersIdentifying opportunities with high PWin potential, qualifying opportunities, and working with our capture and delivery teams to winOverseeing the development and execution of customer call plans.A week in the life of a Federal Health Account Executive includes:Proactively identify new funding and business opportunitiesPerform market research to qualify new opportunities.Develop and maintain a "value added" working relationship with internal stakeholdersMeet with clients and build positive relationships and customer affinityDeliver presentations and communicate to internal and external audiencesAttend key industry association and customer sponsored eventsCultivate strong relationships with proven external partners for the purposes of teamingIdentify early key customer trends to proactively leverage capabilities to help the company growManage responses to government market research inquiries (e.g., RFIs, SSNs, etc.)Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance.Job Requirements

Bachelor's and at least 8+ years of experience selling into Federal Health agencies specifically DHA, DHMS, HHS or VAAbility to manage multiple customer relationships and a requisite opportunity pipelineAbility to organize and coordinate customer meetings, RFI responses and participation in industry eventsUnderstanding of Information Technology and/or Engineering ServicesKnowledge of Government contracting, acquisition trends and customer buying behaviorsStrong familiarity with federal acquisition regulations and contracting mechanisms to include IDIQs, GWACs, BPAs, JVs and othersMust be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public TrustFounded in 1975, AMERICAN SYSTEMS is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States. The salary range for this position is $130,000- $175,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
