About the RoleAs a Sales Development Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for potential customers, qualifying leads, and setting the stage for our Account Executives to close deals. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to help shape our processes from the ground up. You should be passionate about working closely with companies solving complex engineering challenges, including satellite constellations, renewable energy, and autonomous transportation. You will report to our VP Sales.In This Role, You'll:Prospect and qualify leads through a variety of channels (phone, email, social media)Conduct in-depth discovery calls to understand customer needs and challengesSet clear and attainable appointments for our Account ExecutivesMaintain a strong understanding of SiftStack's value proposition and competitive landscapeContribute to the continuous improvement of our sales development processThe Skillset You'll Bring:Ideally 1+ years of experience in a B2B sales development role (SDR, BDR, Account Development Representative)Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbalThe ability to build rapport and qualify leads quickly and efficientlyA data-driven mindset with a hunger for continuous improvementExperience with outreach and prospecting tools (SalesLoft, Outreach.io, etc.) a plusBonus Points for:Experience in the SW B2B industryA passion for technology and innovation
