Senior Marketing Manager - Demand Generation

Our mission is to improve the UX of the internet. We build tools that help frontend teams develop and test UIs. Our customers ship UIs that billions of people use.

You'll join as the first marketer.

You'll be responsible for driving our marketing strategy and owning top of funnel. You'll create campaigns that generate leads for our sales team and self-serve business respectively.

Historically, our growth comes from word of mouth. Chromatic's superpower is building products developers love to use. You'll contribute by creating inspiring yet practical campaigns and resources that demonstrate Chromatic's value to developers.

This role is for ambitious senior marketers looking to have a broad impact across a company.

Required Location:

North America (EST preferred)

Responsibilities

Develop marketing strategies to drive expansion for existing customers.Own inbound marketing and conversion optimization for new customers.Build bottoms up model for lead generation and conversion in support of net new revenue goals.Own SEO for Chromatic.com (SaaS) and Storybook.js.org (open source).Create marketing campaigns and content that generate measurable interest in our product.Quantify how much pipeline you generate (e.g., opportunities & sales outcomes).Be an expert on the customer journey and the conversion rates therein.Build marketing stack and integrate with CRM.

Requirements5+ years of demand gen marketing experience with a metrics-driven outcomes. Proven ability to quantify pipeline generated.Experience marketing to developers (1+ years devtools. Open source experience a bonus).Eager to innovate and test growth strategies tailored to Chromatic's positioning.Proactive and unafraid to take action by getting involved in the hands-on execution of tasks.Ability to instrument and debug a user acquisition funnel across marketing sites, web apps, and other web properties.Mastery of demand gen tools and familiarity with developer-centric platforms (e.g., GitHub).Can balance ideal solutions with practicalities of scope and speed.Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for writing things down.Experience with Hubspot Marketing Hub and Sales Hub.

Salary Range:
