Job DescriptionAllied Universal is looking to hire an
Assistant Account Manager.
The
Assistant Account Manager
job is responsible for assisting the Account Manager with all supervisory, training and operations functions at the assigned post in accordance with post orders and client instructions and following all internal procedures. To support and ensure success in this role, we provide a comprehensive, week-long management onboarding course designed to provide best practices, tools, and guidance.
Your Role:
Client Engagement:
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Operational Support:
Assist with administrative tasks and coordinate service delivery.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with our security personnel to ensure client satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with the coordination of all aspects of executing the security contract at the assigned location.
Supervise, motivate, coach, and train Security Professionals.
Evaluate work performance of Security Professionals and make assignment recommendations.
Maintain and update the Post Order manual and ensure the Post is properly maintained.
Conduct training and orientation for new employees assigned to post.
Oversee all reports and logs generated by the Security Department.
Respond to minor incidents and ensure appropriate action is taken.
Identify personnel problems and forward issues to Account Manager or Field Supervisor.
Make recommendations for counseling and/or disciplinary action.
Respond to client or site emergencies and maintain positive client/security relationships.
Occasionally perform Security Professional duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum three (3) – five (5) years of professional-level experience required.
Must possess a valid state Guard License or have applied for one prior to employment.
Driving Positions: valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record required.
Energetic and focused personality with strong customer service orientation required.
Ability to write effective and concise reports required.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.
Must be available to work outside normal shift schedule on an as-needed basis.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
College education or business classes
Experience in scheduling, operations, or other functions of security industry
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and email
