Allied Universal is looking to hire an

Assistant Account Manager.

The

Assistant Account Manager

job is responsible for assisting the Account Manager with all supervisory, training and operations functions at the assigned post in accordance with post orders and client instructions and following all internal procedures. Work closely with our security personnel to ensure client satisfaction.What We're Looking For:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in security management, criminal justice or a related field. 5+ years of experience in security management required.Experience:

Previous experience in security or a similar industry is a plus.Skills:

Excellent communication and organizational abilities.Responsibilities:

Assist with the coordination of all aspects (technical and managerial) of executing the security contract at the assigned location.Supervise, motivate, coach, and train Security Professionals.Evaluate the work performance of Security Professionals and make recommendations regarding assignments.Maintain and update the Post Order manual and ensure the Post is properly maintained, cleaned, and organized.Assist the Account Manager in conducting interviews and evaluating new employees.Oversee all reports, logs and pass downs generated by and for the Security Department.Manage and supervise all sub-units within the Security Department.Respond to minor incidents and ensure appropriate action is taken.Identify personnel problems occurring at posts and forward issues to Account Manager.Make recommendations for counseling and/or disciplinary action.Respond to client or site emergencies as they arise.May occasionally perform Security Professional type job duties on an as-needed basis.Qualifications:

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum three (3) - five (5) years of professional-level experience required.Must possess a valid state Guard License or have applied for one prior to employment.Driving Positions: must possess a valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience.Energetic and focused personality with strong customer service orientation.Ability to write effective and concise reports.Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment.Ability to train and coach others.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.Must be available to work outside normal shift schedule on an as needed basis.Preferred Qualifications:

College education or business classes.Experience in scheduling, operations, or other functions of security industry.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and email.Benefits:
