With its innovative IT technology, SDS developed the integrated logistics solution called “Cello” in 2010, started its logistics business in 2012 and expanded its logistics business with Business Process Outsourcing.The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the transportation of cargo from origin to final destination, ensuring timely and efficient delivery via ocean, land, and air. This role involves communication with account agents and customers to secure profitable deals, streamlining inbound and outbound freight operations, and generating necessary shipping documentation. The Logistics Coordinator also monitors inventory, provides quotations, invoices customers, and develops performance metrics to enhance supply chain operations and customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:Coordinate transportation of cargo from origin to final destination.Communicate with account agents and customers to accommodate clients and achieve profitable deals.Streamline ocean inbound and outbound freight operations.Manage the operation to ensure timely delivery via ocean, land, and air.Generate shipping documentation.Coordinate transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.Provide different types of quotations to customers and send invoices for completed cases.Ensure accurate daily inventory data and match it with other reports.Manage and monitor operations to achieve high customer service goals by providing on-time delivery, controlling product lead times, and responding to customer requests.Serve as the main point of contact for high-volume customer accounts, eliminating constraints, meeting objectives, and maintaining excellent relationships.Plan, analyze, and compare the cost of services; update, trace, and track the status of shipments for select suppliers and logistics service providers (LSPs).Report performance indicators (KPIs) for the supply chain function.Develop performance metrics to manage and evaluate the operating performance of internal supply chain resources and external supply chain partner collaboration models.Minimum Requirements:High school diploma/GED required5+ years of logistics and transportation industry-related experience requiredExcellent communication and problem-solving skills.Outstanding organizational and coordination abilitiesExcellent problem-solving abilitiesExcellent computer and database management skillsBilingual English/Spanish is preferredSamsung SDS America supports your professional development and growth in your future career.Your base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
