Ready for take-off? As a Logistics Coordinator, you'll be the captain of worldwide time-critical transport, ensuring smooth handling and execution of booked transports. With your exceptional communication skills, you'll navigate through complex customer requests and deliver emergency logistics services.

Tasks

Your main tasks include, among others:Receive complex customer requests for worldwide time-critical transport and emergency logistic servicesFollow up on proposals and thereafter be responsible for a smooth handling and execution of the booked transportsIdentify the customers’ individual requirements and needs using strong communication skillsProvide our customers with very individualized and tailor-made transport solutions within a limited time frameSupport the sales team by being the single and operational point of contact for our key account customersGive guidance to new colleagues on solving irregularities and the steps to be taken if these take placeCreate handover protocols and communicate irregularities at end of shift towards other worldwide customer service teams* Perform other tasks and/or projects, as assignedRequirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:Bachelor's degree desirableMinimum 1 year of experience in the field of logistics or freight forwardingKnowledge of transport supply chain solutions and logistics flows, operational logistic processes and services mandatoryAirfreight knowledge is desirableFluency in English language requiredAt least 1 other foreign language, preferably German, Dutch, French or SpanishComputer skills as expertExperience with MS Office and MS WindowsExcellent ability to handle stressExcellent customer service and customer orientationAble to lift up to 70 lbsAbility to work constantly with time pressureAble to work in shifts and weekendsMust possess a legal work permit in the U.S.Willingness to travelMust possess a valid driver’s license* CV/ Resume required* Company will not provide relocation assistanceAbout time:matters Americas Inc.
