The ETSU’s Campus Radio, WETS is accepting applications for an Assistant Director of News/Content. The News/Content Director works to bring creative projects at WETS to fruition, helping coordinate and utilize available resources to create programming and news content and develop innovative ways to appeal to WETS listeners/contributors.Responsible for ensuring the quality of programming on the FM/HD-1, HD-2, and HD-3 air signals.Arranging the breaks for the FM/HD-1 signal for morning and evening/overnight shifts using pre-recorded material from the announcers.Filling in for the recording of underwriting credits as well as public service announcements from the community.Works with the Station Director to work out programs to fill in for programs that have ended or are being replaced.Working with NPR Digital Services to take advantage of new NPR initiatives as well as SoundExchange music reporting.Performing other related duties as assigned.Benefits:
