located in Wilson, North Carolina.While this role will ultimately support the site operations located in Wilson NC, this role will also be required to support the project phase across both design & construction. For the project design phase, the role will require you to be present with our design teams in the Greater Philadelphia region. Once the design phase is completed, this role will support the construction and operational start-up of the site. For this, you will be required to be on site in Wilson, NC. Based on your current location the hiring team will work with you to determine travel and relocation arrangements. In steady state, we expect travel to be less than 10%.J&J is expanding our manufacturing capacity with $2 billion investment to support strong portfolio growth and continue delivering breakthrough innovation and transformational medicines for patients. The new facility will expand production of innovative biologic medicines in areas including oncology, immunology, and neuroscience. J&J’s significant supply chain investment ensures a resilient and reliable future supply of medicines to meet accelerating demand for our current portfolio of medicines and our future innovations.The Maintenance Senior Manager leads Maintenance operations throughout the implementation of preventive maintenance programs, equipment repairs, and maintenance engineering projects that contribute to the optimization and increased productivity of the organization’s manufacturing facilities and equipment.Key Responsibilities:Manages a team of individual contributors and Supervisors and is accountable for conducting effective performance management, training and development, succession planning and meaningful career development conversations.Establishes processes to facilitate the implementation of preventive maintenance programs, equipment repairs, and maintenance projects that contribute to the optimization and increased productivity of the manufacturing and utilities equipment.Set up Safety, Calibrations and Master Data, Documents, Spare Parts, Utilities and Equipment Maintenance Systems.Develops tactical and operational plans for the Maintenance team and supports organizational objectives and business goals by optimizing the productivity and reliability of manufacturing facilities and equipment.Oversees maintenance programs, repair projects and serves as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders.Collaborates on risk assessments regarding the integration and utilization of new equipment and machinery.Responsible for budget compliance and cost-effective use of resources.Accountable for the Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Process.Maintain assigned areas in a state of GMP and EHS audit readiness.Maintain a culture of GMP compliance.Maintain an Environmental Health and Safety culture of ownership and compliance of regulations and company policies.QualificationsEducation (required):B.S. degree in Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a maintenance environment preferably within the biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industryORMaster’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience in a maintenance environment preferably within the biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industryRequired:Extensive people management experienceStrong working knowledge of bio or pharmaceutical processesExpertise in cGMP’s for Maintenance in an FDA regulated environmentKnowledge of Manufacturing Equipment Excellence (ME2)/ Best Practices for Maintenance and ReliabilityStrong influencing, partnering, collaboration, analytical skillsProven business and strategic acumenPreferred:In-depth understanding of the ISA S95 & S88 standardsFamiliarity with Industry 4.0 and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technologiesThis job posting is anticipated to close on 10/20/2024.
