The Role
The Quality Control Manager is responsible for implementing and administering a quality control and assurance program to ensure that all work is performed in accordance with project plans and specifications as well as the standards specified in the project Quality Control Plan.
Qualifications:6+ years' experience in the construction industry with a commercial and/or industrial general contractor, with a minimum of 2 years in a quality control responsible roleWorks on multiple projects of approximately $5 million in annual volume or moreExtensive knowledge of building codes and general engineering principlesStrong verbal and written communication skills, including clear, concise, and professional presentation of informationMust demonstrate a strong ability to:Adapt and be flexible to frequent changes in a fast-paced work environmentDemonstrate integrity consistent with Centennial's core valuesCollaborate and work effectively in a team environment with people of various backgrounds and stylesAdapt to the constantly evolving world of technology, design, means and methods, including systems such as Microsoft Office suite, ProCore, and AdobeBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field highly desiredPrevious formal safety and quality control training certifications highly desired
Responsibilities:Implement and administer Quality Control Plan based on client approved Quality Control Plan; Perform daily inspections and direct inspectors to ensure compliance with delivery order requirements; Prepare material submittals and Material Delivery Verification Forms; Prepare Daily Quality Control Report; Attend Pre-Construction meetings with subcontractors; Maintain on-site records of quality control operations and materials used; Coordinate third party testing agents as outlined in the quality control plan; Prepare and submit accurate, detailed, written daily reports for the project.Safety:
Ensure compliance with Centennial's Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) guidelines and procedures along with all local requirements (OSHA, USACE EM385.1.1, etc.)Responsible for driving between project sites that are often miles apart or from the assigned office location.This role will require ongoing travel to support projects in various locations in the United States.Performance of the required job duties will be in an office environment along with visits to sites that are under construction.
