The Role

The Traveling Senior Quality Control Manager is primarily responsible for providing, implementing, and administering a quality control/ assurance program to ensure that all work is performed in accordance with project plans and specifications as well as the standards and methods specified in the project Quality Control Plan.

Qualifications:

10+ years' experience in the construction industry with a commercial and/or industrial general contractor in a quality control related roleWorks on multiple teams, approximately $10 million in annual volume or moreExtensive knowledge of building codes and general engineering principlesMust demonstrate a strong ability to:

Adapt and be flexible to frequent changes in a fast-paced work environmentDemonstrate integrity consistent with Centennial's core valuesCollaborate and work effectively in a team environment with people of various backgrounds and stylesStrong verbal and written communication skills, to include clear, concise, and professional presentation of informationAdapt to the constantly evolving world of technology, design, means and methods, systems may include but not limited to: Microsoft Office suite, ProCore, Adobe, and BlueBeam

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field highly desired

Responsibilities:

Project Quality Control:

Implement and administer Quality Control Plan based on client approved Quality Control Plan; Perform daily inspections and/or direct inspectors to provide daily inspections ensuring compliance with delivery order requirements; Prepare material submittals and Material Delivery Verification Forms which certify that ordered material/equipment is in compliance with the drawings and specifications; Prepare Daily Quality Control Report that summarizes quality operations; Maintain on-site records of quality control operations, activities, tests, and inspections performed including the work of subcontractors and suppliers; Participate in Pre-Construction meetings with subcontractors to promote understanding of Quality Control Plan, applicable specification sections and expected level of quality; Prepare and submit accurate, detailed, written daily reports for the project; Maintain on-site drawing records and records of materials used; Maintain on-site records of factory tests and manufacturers' certifications; Coordinate third party testing agents as outlined in the quality control plan; Prepare, implement, and manage the Quality Control Plan; Develop and implement methods and procedures to assess cost and responsibility for unacceptable material and supplies; Monitor all job site operations for compliance with contract requirements and procedures; Implement and administer Quality Control Plan based on client approved Quality Control Plan; Conduct or arrange periodic training sessions to keep project personnel informed on proper construction procedures and methods.

Safety:

Ensure compliance with Centennial's Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) guidelines and procedures along with all local requirements (OSHA, USACE EM385.1.1, etc.)

Responsible for driving between project sites that are often miles apart or miles from the assigned office location.

This role will require ongoing travel to support projects in various locations in the United States.

Performance of the required job duties will be in an office environment along with visits to sites that are under construction which may include various weather conditions.The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

The salary range for this position is $67,575.00 - $159,000.00
