We are actively seeking a Merchant Services Specialist to ensure our customers continue to receive great service as we expand and grow.The Merchant Services Specialist works in our Operations Department to provide detailed support to our merchants. This role performs a wide variety of merchant support functions including resolving product and service-related issues, assisting in account reconciliation, and facilitating the merchant dispute, cancellation, and account changes process. The Merchant Services Specialist also ensures that our merchant conversations and resolutions are properly documented in our database.Responsibilities:

Respond to inbound inquiries via phone and email from associates, clients, and merchantsProvide research, reporting, and accounting related support to our merchantsWrite and distribute emails, letters, and formsPromote a positive relationship and demonstrate exemplary customer serviceProvide options to meet the objectives of our customersIdentify ways to improve service levels and productivity within the departmentEvaluate and prepare account changes and closuresMaintain internal CRM systemReview and process transaction disputesCommunicate effectively, a resolution to any and all monetary related questions as they relate to merchants and their accountsQualifications:

Past experience in payment and/or banking industry is a plusBilingual (English & Spanish speaking) preferredSimultaneously use the telephone while navigating multiple computer systems and resourcesAbility to work well under pressure and demonstrate exceptional critical thinking skillsAbility to meet job standards for quality, attendance, and scheduled adherenceStrong customer service experience in fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated, conscientious, and team orientedThis position requires individuals with strong time management skills and the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and systemsTyping skills are needed along with familiarity with the basic MAC/PC applications, including Microsoft Excel and WordWillingness to learn new product information and seize opportunities to expand your job knowledge throughout your careerCapability to evolve and excel in a dynamic office atmosphereWe offer a competitive salary, great employee incentives, paid time off, medical and dental/vision package, and Simple IRA in a great work environment.
