Description:Description of function

The Account Manager serves as the primary business contact for the client and is responsible for client satisfaction throughout his life-cycle. Being close to our customers is a must to identify and cater for their needs in a timely manner. The AM is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to a number of selected accounts, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure the quality of our services and adapt our offering.

Reporting to the Regional Manager and based out of our Fort Lauderdale office, the main responsibilities of this function include:

Generate new business opportunities and convert these into clients.

Identify areas of improvement in our clients’ operations an present solutions from our portfolio that can complement or cover these “gaps”.

Meeting sales objectives with existing accounts through promoting our entire product and services portfolio.

Managing a business portfolio according to an agreed market development strategy.

Responsibility for all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue.

Recording of commercial activity in the appropriate management system.

Responding to and following up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.

Working closely with the project team in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project.

Providing two-way communication between the client and team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations.

Requirements:Necessary experience & Qualifications

Very fluent English level (written & verbal)

Strong communication skills with a client-focused attitude

Proven Account Management skills required in order to maintain and enhance customer relationships

Undergraduate degree / HND equivalent

Commercial experience in IT / Telco / Cyber related market.

Ability to negotiate and liaise with prospects and customers.

Experience in the yachting industry is an advantage.

Although not an absolute pre-requisite, we would prefer candidates with an academic background in a relevant subject (Telecommunications Engineering, Satellite engineering, Cyber Security, IT/Networking or computers/programming).

Advanced User of Microsoft Office suite: Excel, Word, Powerpoint, M365 CRM.

Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator

Resident or citizen in the USA (USA-Florida)

Available within 2 months

Willing to travel
