LEAD CONSULTANTLocation: Remote, USAEmployment Type: Full-TimeCompensation: $110,000 - $160,000 (Range applies to US candidates only) + Benefits/Variable Comp/Equity - Range may vary based on experience.Benefits Offered: Vision, Medical, Life, Dental, 401KABOUT THE JOBThis position will provide an integral consultative component to our customer's ongoing efforts to expedite the ROI and maximize the effectiveness of their business performance management solutions, especially OneStream XF. Consultants are responsible for providing solutions by working with customers to develop applications primarily for financial reporting. A Consultant has hands-on knowledge of OneStream XF and a track record of successful implementations as well as core product training. A Consultant completes the implementation work in a timely manner and can assist in validating the requirements and design of the application.A Consultant performs the routine and non-routine activities in each area of responsibility independently, with minimal coaching and supervision. OneStream Consultants typically work together with customer resources and frequently with a team of other consultants to implement complex web-based Business Performance Management solutions. Teamwork is an important function of this role. The ideal candidate possesses experience working in finance organizations, with sound understanding of the nature of work performed by financial analysts, controllers, finance directors, and CFOs.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDemonstrate the core/advanced functionality of single solution on the platform through Proof of ConceptEngage in conversations with Sales to discuss implementation of a use case at current or prior customer (or employer)Delegate tasks to and mentor junior members of the teamIndependently complete implementation work and project documentationReview and finalize documentation and application elements prepared by junior team membersLead troubleshooting and resolution of application issuesLead a full multi-solution design session; prepare complete design document.Assist in identifying roles and responsibilities for projectsProvide feedback on team performanceResponsible for managing small projects in accordance with the PRIME methodologyCreate and maintain project financials, project plan, and status reportingMentor less experienced consultants for Lunch & Learns or Services MeetingsPropose session ideas for SplashAuthor Blog Posts for OneCommunityIdentify and recreate issues for tracking and resolution with product developmentConduct customer trainingLead customer meetings, manage customer relationshipPresent Lunch & Learn knowledge share sessionsRespond to Inquiries from OneStream Employees via OneCommunityQUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATEREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEExperience of implementing OneStreamBachelor's degree in fields such as (but not limited to) Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Mathematics, or CIS, or equivalent work experience.8+ years of relevant work experienceExtensive experience with SQL, C#, VB.NET or similar programming experienceHigh degree of proficiency with MS Office and data modeling skillsDeep understanding of financial accounting processesStrong critical thinking and analytical background (consulting, banking, research)Superior presentation skillsStrong technical skills/background as it relates to product implementationPrior Experience with databases (Oracle, Essbase, etc.)PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEMaster's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology.A professional accounting designation (e.g. CPA, CMA, CGA, CA), advanced degrees (MBA, MFA), and/or other professional designations or certifications (applicable to accounting/finance and information technology)Prior experience with any of the following products is a plus:SAP Outlooksoft BPCSAP BOFC (Cartesis)HFM (Hyperion Financial Management)FDM (Financial Data Quality Management) or UpStreamHyperion PlanningHyperion EssbaseIBM CognosSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNoneTRAVELRegular travel is a critical part of this role and a willingness to travel up to 80-100% of work time is required.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTESAbility to apply software knowledge to functional business requirements by leading requirements, scoping, and design sessionsAbility to create and finalize project documentation per PRIME Methodology guidelinesAbility to apply basic standard project management principles and practices to deliver resultsAbility to independently write advanced cube views, report books, dashboards, custom dashboards, quick viewsAbility to write increasingly complex seeding rules, custom transformational rules, CF rule, parser business rules, conditional business rules, cube view extender rules, dashboard extender rules, extensibility rulesAbility to write basic allocations, custom consolidation rules, connector business rulesAbility to write complex XFBR business rulesAbility to design, build and customize Task Manager, Parcel Service, Guided Reporting, Help Desk, Specialty Planning Solutions, Data Entry 123, Transaction Matching, RCM, ACMIncreasing ability to take on more senior roles in implementations including leadership roles with little supervision.Legally authorized to work for any company in the country where this position is located without sponsorship.WHO WE AREOneStream is how today's Finance teams can go beyond just reporting on the past and Take Finance Further by steering the business to the future.
