ABOUT THE JOBThis position will provide an integral consultative component to our customer's ongoing efforts to expedite the ROI and maximize the effectiveness of their business performance management solutions, especially OneStream. Consultants are responsible for providing solutions by working with customers to develop applications primarily for financial reporting. A Consultant has hands-on knowledge of OneStream and a track record of successful implementations as well as core product training. A Consultant completes the implementation work in a timely manner and can assist in validating the requirements and design of the application.A Consultant performs the routine and non-routine activities in each area of responsibility independently, with minimal coaching and supervision. OneStream Consultants typically work together with customer resources and frequently with a team of other consultants to implement complex web-based Business Performance Management solutions. Teamwork is an important function of this role. The ideal candidate possesses experience working in finance organizations, with sound understanding of the nature of work performed by financial analysts, controllers, finance directors, and CFOs.Preference is for applicants to live within easy commutable distance to a major Airport.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESBuild extensible cubes & metadata, data sources, transformation rules, forms, journal templates, workflowsMigrate the various OS application (metadata, CV's, Dashboards, etc) and system (security, custom tables, etc) artifactsWrite certification questionsWrite cube views, report books, dashboards (reports & charts), custom workspace dashboards, quick viewsWrite basic conditional business rules and basic XFBR business rulesWrite application & project documentationCommunicate effectively with the project team as well as the customer's senior management teamConduct customer trainingAct as an onboarding guide/mentor to new ConsultantsProduce project documentation including status reports, design documentation framework, application documentation, end-user training materials, test scripts, validation templates, etc.Participate in Regional, North America, and Global practice callsPresent Lunch & Learn knowledge share sessionsRespond to Inquiries from OneStream Employees via OneCommunityCompile & distribute Weekly Status Reports

QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATEREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCECollege diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a technology-related field or equivalent work experience2 - 5 years relevant work experience with Corporate Performance Management Function or Software.Knowledge of financial accounting processesDemonstrated experience with MS Office and data modeling skillsStrong critical thinking and analytical background (consulting, banking, research)Superior presentation skillsStrong technical skills/background as it relates to product implementationExperience with databases (Oracle, Essbase, etc.)PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEA professional accounting designation (e.g. CPA, CMA, CGA, CA), advanced degrees (MBA, MFA), and/or other professional designations or certifications (applicable to accounting/finance and information technology)Experience with VB.net or Visual Basic. Any object-oriented programming a plus.Prior experience with any of the following products is a plus:SAP Outlooksoft BPCSAP BOFC (Cartesis)HFM (Hyperion Financial Management)FDM (Financial Data Quality Management) or UpStreamHyperion PlanningHyperion EssbaseIBM Cognos

TravelRegular travel is a critical part of this role and a willingness to travel up to 80-100% of work time is required.
