The Manager for Supply Chain and Logistics will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the supply chain operations across the province, ensuring the efficient delivery of health supplies and services. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain principles, project management, data analysis, system thinking, and continuous improvement processes. Travel is required, and may include the use of a personal vehicle. A standard driver’s abstract may also be required for use of corporate lease vehicles.Description:

Reporting to Director Provincial Medical Device Reprocessing and Supply Chain/Logistics, this position is responsible for leading, strategic planning, and coordinating projects/activities related to Supply Chain and Logistics to ensure quality assurance, innovation, and safe patient care across Covenant Health. The Manager for Supply Chain and Logistics encourages positive relationships between staff in all departments at all sites, in keeping with the Covenant Health mission, vision and values, and demonstrates leadership skills that support a dynamic team. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain and logistics management, preferably within the health sector. Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools. Strong project management skills and experience with project management methodologies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Outlook) is required. Demonstrated experience in leading teams, project and change management planning and implementation. Proven results-oriented management style with experience in management, program leadership, group facilitation, and strategic planning and implementation.

Preferred Qualifications:
