to support the Remote Sensing Programs (RSP) programs in the Space Sector. This role will support the Active RF Programs in program execution.This is both a functional management position with direct reports and a leadership role support the OU and BU. The Manufacturing Operations Project Managers are the interface between the Business Area and Manufacturing. This position is responsible for schedule management and cost accountability of Manufacturing activities for this Business Area.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Manage the production execution for Active Sensor Programs OUManage the EO/IR manufacturing engineering teamSupport the growth of the manufacturing engineering support team in RSPManage Manufacturing cost and schedule performanceServe as Manufacturing lead for all proposals in the Active Sensors ProgramsCreate and lead teams to resolve the issues adversely impacting the Manufacturing execution of the programsUnderstand and report on Manufacturing Operations status at the required level of detail to the Program Manager, Sector Executive Management and customersEnsure Manufacturing has the needed resources to execute the programsServe as Functional Manager and direct the work of the reporting Operations Project Managers and/or Manufacturing EngineersPerform manpower planning and execute hiring to support the Business AreaMentor, develop, and assess direct reportsProvide strategic leadership to ensure all Program and Manufacturing objectives are achievedProvide Manufacturing expertise to support the strategic vision of the Business DivisionBasic QualificationsBS + 5 years of exp: MS + 3 years of exp; PhD + 0 years of exp; or 9 years of related experience in lieu of degree3+ years of experience leading people and/or projectsExperience working in Manufacturing, Engineering, Test, Production, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, Project Engineering, IPT, Operations Project Management (OPM), or similar rolesWorking knowledge of SAP and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systemsThe ability to obtain a Top Secret / SCI clearance; US citizenship is required.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in a STEM fieldAn active TS/SCI Clearance2+ years of direct people leadership experienceDemonstrated expertise in MRP and IMS Scheduling, SAP production planning and material management tools, ISE/CADSTAR, Earned Value Management, Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing and ManufacturingExperience leading Manufacturing proposal efforts that include labor quoting, schedule and capacity analysis, investment planning, and descriptive writing contributionsExcellent presentation and communication skillsProgram execution experienceSalary Range:

$99,800 - $149,600The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
