Responsibilities

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager who will lead a team of product managers and developers through the full go-to-market cycle. Your main focuses will be the go-to-market analysis, business strategy, monetization, early adopter engagement, product development, and enterprise system scaling. You will also engage with senior leaders across organizations. This role requires product vision, leadership, a mixture of technical aptitude and business acumen to define the future of global supply chain ecosystems.

If you are customer obsessed and passionate about groundbreaking technology and creating a team that is inclusive, innovative and driven by a growth mindset, this is your chance to leave your mark on the supply chain industry.Managers deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring.Creates and builds a strategic agenda for the supply chain blockchain development team to identify customers’ unmet or unknown needs and market opportunities for enhancement and development of feature(s)/feature areas (product, service) via quantitative (usage, telemetry) and qualitative analyses (customer usage, various listening systems, feedback channels of market and industry trends), looks for patterns in the data across a portfolio, and scopes the impact and prioritization of a problem.Ensures teams demonstrate and build experiences across feature(s)/feature areas ( product, service). Understands the broader ecosystem of Microsoft products and where to leverage capabilities and functionalities across the ecosystem to build supply chain innovative capabilities.Drives and coaches teams to develop problem statements and form hypotheses of new feature(s)/feature areas (product, service) across divisional boundaries to address crucial customer needs and/or market opportunities; identifies dependencies of other feature areas.Oversees Supply Chain Blockchain team who work across multiple feature(s)/feature areas ( product, service). Provides strategic guidance to team to define the long-term vision and strategy for the feature(s)/feature areas (product, service) based on a deep understanding of customer needs, market and user research, the competitive landscape, and Microsoft’s business goals and strategy. Provides expertise to help teams write product framing memo or strategy documents and reviews with senior leaders. Leads teams to distill the vision and strategy into a product roadmap.Leads Supply Chain Blockchain team in defining the feature set and drives them to partner with Design teams to connect multiple design factors (visual design, user experience, application programming interfaces , hardware designto desired functionality and product vision.Acts as a subject matter expert and drives teams to collaborate with Product Marketing, Business Planning, and Engineering to identify product release criteria, customer acquisition, usage, retention, and monetization strategies. Provides strategic insight to teams to help scale Product Marketing teams by building marketing and roll-out plans and/or content such as product overviews, blogs, and landing pages for individual features or smaller products that ladder up to marketing plans for an overall product solution area, as needed.

Product Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.
