The Project Manager Team Lead role is within our Professional Services team and is responsible for defining and managing the entire process of product implementation and expansion projects for our customers and partners. Project Managers interact with customers to install, optimize or modify their solutions based on their business results. These projects are built using our project methodology which encompasses comprehensive planning, execution and reporting processes, models, and tools.
What you will do:
Manage the project from kickoff to implementation and client acceptance
Oversee the efforts of the required internal specialists/departments
Lead the execution of project activities in accordance with Advantive’s implementation methodology
Status reporting, including steering committee presentations
Forecasting and resource scheduling
Manage project budgets
Develop, manage, and execute the project plan
Create and update project documentation for both internal and the client’s use
Manage the project issue log, risk mitigation plans, change order management
Guide clients through the preparation of their IT infrastructure
Manage communications between the client, our team, and other project participants
Mentor and support other implementation service team members to improve skillsets
Drive improvements across the Implementation Services organization to increase efficiencies and improve consistency in delivery of quality implementations
Manage multiple projects concurrently
Lead a high-performing team of Project Coordinators in Tampa, FL
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Computer Science, Engineering, or other equivalent industry experience
3+ years managing technical projects, desirably Enterprise software implementations, with an eye to managing risk, scope, quality, and budget
Experience delivering project results to external clients, desirably in a professional services context (billable)
Excellent problem-solving skills
Experience as a team lead/management role
Experience working on complex projects including projects requiring coordination with multiple vendors
Excellent English written and verbal communication, including the ability to work with all levels of internal and external organizations in an assertive manner
Experience using resource/time tracking tool(s) such as OpenAir
Experience using project plan tool(s) such as SmartSheet
Strong negotiation, planning, and project reporting skills
Ideally PMP certification
Must be able to work in the Tampa, FL office Mon-Fri
