Supervises a diverse team and contributes to innovation and efficiency in the delivery of language services to ensure access, quality, experience and cost effectiveness. Oversees daily activities and processes that go into ensuring calls and requests related to language services are effectively handled along with the day-to-day supervision of interpreters.Key Position Details:Hybrid - Typically 3 days per week onsite. More time may be required depending on meetings, training, employee assistance.1.0 FTE (80 hours every two-week pay period).8-hour day shifts.Exempt position.No weekends or holidays.Benefit eligible.Job Description:Principle Responsibilities:Supervises interpreters, operation center staff and holds staff accountable for role responsibilities, competencies, individual performance and goals.

Supports recruitment, interviewing, hiring and onboarding process.Conducts ongoing coaching, assessment, training and education of staff.Responsible for engagement of employees and contributing to annual department-wide engagement plan.

Maintains and improves operations by monitoring performance, identifying and resolving problems, completing audits and analyses and supporting continuous process improvement.

Supervises day-to-day activities within the operations center with focus on quality, experience and effectiveness of service delivery.Supports collaborative relationships with agencies and awareness of system-wide contracts.Maintains positive relationships with providers and staff and assists with problem solving efforts to resolve barriers and complaints pertaining to scheduling interpreters or other services provided by the operations center.

Maintains awareness of financial performance and contributes to annual budget processes and other financial initiatives.

Coordinates agency billing and invoicing to ensure timely practices.

Other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in business or health-related field required.3 to 7 years of experience providing American Sign Language or Limited English Proficiency interpreter services for a health care system required.2 to 5 years of lead, supervisory or management experience in health care environment required.Certified Health Interpreter Certificate within 1 Year required.Physical Demands:Light Work:Lifting weight Up to 20 lbs. occasionally, Up to 10 lbs. frequently.
