As the front-line representative of the SERVPRO brand, the Production Crew Chief demonstrates the company’s Here to Help commitment to customers and clients. This is done by coordinating, controlling, and performing work activities on restoration projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate a positive customer experience and ensure customer satisfaction of services tracked with online reviews

Communicate clear expectations to production technicians and supervise their activities

Coordinate and perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control

Document a detailed and accurate job file to support the services provided

Manage and control labor and consumable usage on assigned projects

Communicate with production manager and office staff on project progress and issues

Additional Responsibilities

Communicate and follow all OSHA guidelines for job safety

Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly

Coach and train restoration technicians

Position Requirements

Effective written and oral communication

Basic math skills

Valid driver’s license

High school diploma/GED (preferred)

IICRC WRT certification required and ASD preferred

Ability to speak Spanish is a plus, but not required

At least 2 years of experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction required

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance

Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics)

Ability to work with/around cleaning agents

Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time

Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects

Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary

Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law

Pay is based on experience, with possibility of overtime pay, after-hours bonus, incentives, and increases based on merit.
