Standard; Full-Time, Exempt employees are eligible for health, vision, dental, life, as well as voluntary life and disability insurance. Sick leave benefit - 1 day per month, 12 sick days per year (accrual begins at hire). Vacation benefit - 20 vacation days per year, accrued at the rate of .0769 hours for each hour worked (accrual begins at hire but may not be used until the completion of six months of employment). One floating day off for use (accrued immediately, but may not be used until the completion of the initial three-month introductory period of employment). The Facilities Manager provides direct oversight of the facility, Maintenance Technicians, and Facilities Attendants, coordinating any subcontracted facility maintenance services in the Denver Metro area. Responsibilities include leadership and supervision, training, safety, policies and procedures, and scheduling. The individual will seek insights into the needs of the people served to aid them in functioning more effectively in society.Duties and Responsibilities:Manage and lead staff to create a positive environment for staff and guests.Hire, train, cross-train, and develop Maintenance Technicians and Facilities Attendants.Manage HR related issues including hiring, staff discipline, and conflict resolution.Train staff in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention strategies.Ensure staff complete all required onboarding trainings.Coordinate work assignments and ensure regular staff meetings.Oversee staff schedules and ensure appropriate staffing levels.Ensure compliance with Protecting the Mission training.Maintain a safe, stable, supportive community environment for guests.Mediate and resolve partner complaints.Identify and address health and safety hazards and maintenance concerns.Ensure compliance standards are met related to emergency response and safety.Supervision of Staff:Provide direct supervision of staff and address areas of concern with the Non-Congregate Shelters Director.Coordinate with the Non-Congregate Shelters Director and Human Resources to hire and onboard new employees.Conduct weekly meetings for staff professional development.Education and Work Experience:High School Diploma/GED required.Bachelor's degree preferred.At least one year of experience working with vulnerable populations required.Customer service experience and effective communication skills.Experience with trauma-informed care and crisis management preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:Experience supervising staff and working with diverse populations.Current certification in first aid/CPR or ability to obtain within six months of hire.Crisis intervention and non-violent mediation skills.For full info follow application link.
