This hybrid position blends the responsibilities of a Data Steward and Jr. Business Analyst to drive data governance and support informed business decision-making.Position Summary:

The MDM Data Steward/Jr. Business Analyst is responsible for supporting and providing Master Data Management business analyst support activities and executing functions that primarily relate to the management of our party (client and producer) data. The MDM Data Steward/Jr. Business Analyst will be responsible for learning how to monitor and maintain data quality as well as analyzing, validating, cleansing, and enriching data as needed. They will execute these functions according to established policies, principles, guidelines, and standards as determined by the Data Management & Governance Team.Key Responsibilities:Data Office / Data Management & GovernanceSupport the establishment and enforcement of data office policies, standards, and procedures.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with data quality standards.Act as a Data Steward for primarily managing Client and Producer Data utilized globally.Support the mastering of additional data domains such as party, policy number and product.Data AnalysisAnalyze business processes and help identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making.Provide ongoing data analytical support to rationalize and harmonize data guiding principles, standards etc.DocumentationMaintain comprehensive data dictionaries and metadata repositories.Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding data assets.Document Business Requirements in support of MDM Target Operating Model.Assist with development and documentation of data quality rules and guidelines.CollaborationCollaborate with IT, business units, and external stakeholders to gather data requirements.Bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring effective communication.Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to facilitate successful project delivery.What you'll need to succeedAbility to liaise across business units, understand and document requirements and provide functional content details.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).Excellent researching, organization, and communication skills.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or Computer Science, or equivalent combination of work experience and education.Agile Methodology experience helpful.Preferred QualitiesComfortable with a dynamic environment that has continuously changing priorities.Ability to develop traditional and non-traditional solutions to meeting conflicting priorities.Flexible, adaptable, self-starter.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work in large and small teams equally effectively.Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.Ready to prove your potential?
