Join the team at the Crowne Plaza as our Catering Sales Manager. The Catering Sales Manager negotiates, books and services group room accounts and all catering events. This includes but is not limited to rooms, catering functions, set-ups, audiovisual and on-site servicing.Responsibilities:
Negotiates and finalizes contract and banquet event orders by meeting with clientsResearch competing hotels, prospects, and network to surface businessDevelop effective sales strategies to counter the competitionStay abreast of local eventsConduct site visitsPrepare proposals tailored to address and impress the clientSell to fill need datesIdentify and secure business to fit the yield strategyAttain/exceed sales goals and profitabilityQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, marketing, business, or related field from a four-year college or university or high school diploma or GED plus 2 years sales related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the above skills, knowledge and ability
