Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Account Manager to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

Innovative, self-starter with the self-confidence and ability to represent the Pavion Company in a professional, ethical manner to gain a high level of confidence.Excellent problem-solving and meeting facilitation skills.Develop and execute a strong business plan, advanced selling skills, e.g., qualify prospects, lead generation, new business development, account penetration, strategic selling, conceptual selling, issues-based selling, consultative selling, negotiation, and contracts (closing).Experience building a network of business relationships to create sales opportunities.Identify target opportunities to 'take' large customer sales from our competitors where possible.Serve as the key point of contact with your customers; develop/nurture these key relationships to grow business within the accounts.Demonstrate a deep understanding of customers and their issues to drive long-term results and become their trusted advisor.Basic Qualifications:

Prospecting and building relationships with new clients that result in installation or servicing opportunities.Maintaining relationships with existing clients that result in installation or servicing opportunities.Performing consultative site surveys, system design, estimating and proposal writing.Ability to work independently or as a team.Must have a minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience.Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.Ability to meet travel requirements up to 40%.Preferred Qualifications:

B2B electronic security industry knowledge.Consultative sales experience.Knowledge of the competitive landscape and key influencers.Proven history of sales success identifying and developing (hunting) new business opportunities.Disclaimer: This job description should not be construed to imply that these requirements are the exclusive standards of the position.
