Position Summary:

Pavion is hiring a Senior Account Executive to focus on driving new business while growing existing accounts for the RTP (Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill) market. This professional will be solely responsible for identifying and developing strategic client relationships with a focus on selling critical workplace solutions (Structured Cabling, Security, Audio Visual, DAS, BDA, and Fire). The goal of the Senior Account Executive is to drive revenue for their market by identifying and securing new business, grow existing relationships, and unlocking competitively held accounts within the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill markets.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

Experience establishing a client base and proven successful history of relationship development, leads generation, and selling design concepts/ideas.Proven track record on working with commercial real estate, general contractors, architects, and electrical contractors in the market.Ability to navigate customer at C-level to understand needs and upsell/cross sell continuously.Innovative, self-starter with the self-confidence and ability to represent Pavion in a professional, ethical manner to gain a high level of confidence.Excellent problem-solving and meeting facilitation skills.Develop and execute a strong business plan, advanced selling skills, e.g., qualify prospects, lead generation, new business development, account penetration, strategic selling, conceptual selling, issues-based selling, consultative selling, negotiation, and contracts (closing).Experience building a network of business relationships to create sales opportunities.Identify target opportunities to ‘take’ large customer sales from our competitors where possible.Serve as the key point of contact with your customers; develop/nurture these key relationships to grow business within the accounts.Demonstrate a deep understanding of customers and their issues to drive long term results and become their trusted advisor.The Senior Account Executive will be responsible to read/understand all bid documents, technical drawings, and programming guides and relay all needed information back to the engineering, operations team, and leadership team.The Account Executive will manage the CRM data to include accounts, contacts, and opportunities, along with the Pavion Process Sales Stages to ensure the correct Estimated Revenue, Estimated Close Date, and Probability are accurate to win business.Develop strong relationships across Pavion internal teams to ensure appropriate resources from Pavion Engineering, Project Management, Customer Care, etc. can best support the customer's objectives.Interface effectively with clients and peers, as well as executive-level management.Strong presentation skills to deliver professional and effective awareness of Pavion offerings and service capabilities to individuals or large groups.Manage and facilitate communication between the customer and internal teams. Set up front expectations of due dates and deliverables with team members.Excellent organization, time-management, and planning skills; should be able to set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, effectively interact with customers.Knowledge and experience using internal corporate tools, to include but not limited to, Microsoft Outlook, MS Office, Dynamics CRM or equivalent (must have past CRM experience), Adobe Acrobat, and standard project proposal templates for client and presentations.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, minimum of 6 years of experience within the commercial development industry.6+ years of experience establishing a client base and proven successful history of relationship development, leads generation, and selling design concepts/ideas within design and architecture, commercial real estate, general contractors, and client community.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of the competitive landscape and key influencers in the North Carolina market.Proven history of sales success identifying and developing (hunting) new business opportunities.Experience working with A&D, real estate, and construction companies.Demonstrated ability to lead change and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
