Our client, a prominent HVAC service provider, is seeking an ambitious HVAC Service Sales Account Executive to join their team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing new business by marketing and selling Scheduled Service Agreements to property managers and building owners. These agreements are crucial for maintaining the efficiency and longevity of commercial buildings' heating and cooling systems. This position is ideal for a sales professional with a strong understanding of HVAC systems and a passion for helping clients optimize their energy management and system performance.

Responsibilities

Manage and grow an assigned territory or group of accounts, including building owners, end-users, and property managers.Develop and implement strategies to capitalize on all sales opportunities within the assigned territory.Conduct cold calls both on the phone and in person to prospective clients.Perform needs assessments and develop customized sales proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations.Collaborate with operations, finance, legal, and other internal and external resources to secure sales.Follow through on sold projects to ensure satisfactory completion, facilitating smooth sales-to-operations transitions and monitoring progress.Assist in resolving customer satisfaction issues and collections as necessary.Provide technical assistance to customers, recommending suitable resolutions to problems involving the companys products and services.Utilize sales software to generate sales activity reports, forecast reports, and track expenses.Engage in civic and professional organizations, attend sales department meetings, and participate in workshops and seminars to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

Qualifications

1+ years of sales-related work experience.Moderate technical and financial expertise related to HVAC.Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle.Understanding of HVAC, energy management, engineering, installation, and construction procedures.Ability to interpret mechanical plans and specifications.Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Excellent customer service and computer skills.Associate degree in engineering, business, or a similar field with 2-4 years of related work experience.Relevant credentials such as LEED GA/AP, CEM, FE, or PE are a plus.
