Position Description:Provide general and technical support assistance to users of ATI’s local, wide, wireless, Internet, and Intranet networks, telephone and Voice over IP (VoIP) systems, and all related software programs. Ensures ATI’s systems are operating in a secure and stable manner as directed. Responsible for performing routine daily tasks and participates in IT projects.

Essential Functions:

Provide customer support for data network users on PC applications, hardware, and software, from point of initial customer contact through problem resolution.Use the Helpdesk system to document incoming telephone, voicemail, and e-mail support calls.Maintain and accurately track all IT assets.Support and maintain PCs and peripherals, including installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment.Support and maintain Audio Visual Equipment to support Events and Conferences.Assist ATI group support representatives in upgrading and maintaining PC hardware and software according to Service Level Agreements (SLA).Establish working knowledge and maintain documentation of ATI PC resources.Assist in the compliance of ATI IT policies.Maintain and monitor ATI baseline software licenses and their usage.Support telecommunications infrastructure and its associated software.Install, configure, maintain, support, backup, and optimize all telephone systems, services, and video conferencing environments.Maintains policies, procedures and training plans for telecommunication systems administration.Administers add, move and change requests from end users, as well as new line installations, as required.Assist in the testing and development of a disaster recovery plan.Assesses need for any system reconfigurations and executes them as required.Interacts and negotiates with vendors and contractors to secure communications products and services.Oversees and implements the acquisition and installation of state-of-the-art equipment.Supports 24x7x365 IT operations. Provide on-call support after hours and on weekends on a rotating basis.

Additional Responsibilities:

Assures consistency in work and resolves or elevates issues as appropriate.Ensures proper documentation of IT processes.Continuously seeks opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiencies.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in computer technology plus two years’ experience or Associate’s degree in computer technology plus two years’ experience.Working knowledge of PC hardware and software.Strong commitment to customer satisfaction, including excellent telephone and analytical skills.Takes initiative to work independently and function in a team environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.Prefer network installation and support experience.Prefer strong familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office software.Prefer familiarity with Microsoft networking, TCP/IP, and Cisco IOS.Prefer Microsoft MCP, MCSA, or MCSE certification.Help desk experience.Employee must be a U.S. citizen by birth or naturalization, or a green card lawful U.S. permanent resident.This position is subject to a background check.

Work Environment:

This position is located in an air-conditioned, environmentally controlled atmosphere. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Starting Salary:

$58,000
