Energy Services LLC (ES) is a group company of Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. Energy Services is a small Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) company that has gas turbine power plant installation experience worldwide. The company is collocated with and shares many support and management functions with its sister company, Mitsubishi Power Aero LLC. Mitsubishi Power Aero is the exclusive provider of aero-derivative gas turbine packages based on the advanced technology of Pratt & Whitney proven aircraft engines, and is dedicated to helping power producers deliver clean, reliable energy to the communities they serve throughout the world.Energy Services has installed over 200 gas turbines in simple-cycle, combined heat/power, and combined-cycle configurations worldwide. The company prides itself on being the integrator of the total customer solution for unique, gas turbine power plant applications. Energy Services works closely with Mitsubishi Power Aero and often utilizes the OEM’s equipment as the basis for the overall power plant designs.In this position, the Energy Services Procurement Specialist, reporting to the company’s Vice President/General Manager, is responsible for the process and execution of all Energy Services procurement activities, working cross-functionally among internal departments to drive “best value.”Job Summary

Work with project engineers to identify and/or maintain vendors and suppliers for equipment and construction.Assist/manage/update cost sheets for EPC project proposals (engineering services, construction quotes).Own the purchase order process: manage purchase order requests and create purchase orders aligned with budget; route for approvals; review terms and conditions; perform price evaluations and market assessments; maintain records and track inbound information.Negotiate pricing and performance with vendors and suppliers, leveraging the larger Mitsubishi Power enterprise for volume discounts.Standardize all procurement processes across all projects and aftermarket.Keep abreast of vendor and supplier-related activities in the industry.Support accounts payable analyst.Support Mitsubishi Power Aero Aftermarket Services team (manage invoices, identify recurring cost allocations to projects) for Israel-related onshore work.Execute ad hoc projects as required.Special Skills

Proficiency in electronic procurement and analytical software.In-depth business management, supply chain, and strategic sourcing knowledge.Advanced analytical skills.Exceptional negotiation skills.Sage 300 CRE experience required.Precise verbal and written communication skills.Self-starter with strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree required.Minimum five years of experience in the procurement field.Procurement Analyst/Specialist experience with construction or EPC firm preferred.Job Type
