A successful analyst on the FIU (Financial Intelligence Unit) team will:Conduct a time-sensitive, meticulous investigation and analysis of each instance of potential Anti-Money Laundering activity and/or suspicious financial activity across multiple jurisdictions and countries, utilizing a wide variety of research and analytical tools.Produce a well-written report detailing and analyzing the potentially suspicious activity for review by a supervisor and, when appropriate, filing with FinCEN.Build strong relationships with strategic partners across the unit to ensure effective coordination of significant investigations.Demonstrate a keen attention to detail in investigation, analysis, and writing.Qualifications

Ideal candidates will exhibit investigative, research intensive, and/or heavy writing skills while meeting two or more of the following qualifications:A minimum of two years of experience in audit, investigations or in the broader financial industry.A minimum of two years of experience in the legal field without a juris doctorate.A minimum of two years of experience in Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance, law enforcement, and/or the credit card industry.A bachelor’s degree, master's; or juris doctorate degree in one of the following fields of study: Justice Studies, English, Journalism, Business Administration, Political Science or Government & Public Services.High level of professionalism, self-motivation and sense of urgency.Proven ability to analyze large amounts of data in order to report critical information.Additional Information
