Regional Business Manager EAST , located in Mid - Atlantic, reporting directly to the

Sales Director EAST.MissionThe CPG Regional Business Manager is responsible for achieving Sales Priorities, including ABP (Annual Business Plan), Gross Margin Targets, New Distribution Targets, Trade Marketing and Brand initiatives. This position manages the East US and is responsible for the development, training and ongoing management of the brokers as well as developing customer relationships reporting to the Director of Sales, East.Note: This is a home-based office position and may reside in one of the following states: SC, NC, VA, MD.The focus of this position is to increase distribution and drive volume on Bertolli and Carapelli Olive Oils, Olive Oil Sprays, Specialty Vinegars, and Table Olives within all regional food customers and distributors. Establish relationships with the retailers, ensure appropriate everyday retails are in place and confirm promotional retail and advertising compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop annual plans for its customer base to deliver sales growth and new product distribution.Responsible for achieving business targets (revenue, share growth, margin contribution, new item authorizations, distribution, promotions, etc.).Manage accounts, leveraging new and existing contacts and relationships.Collaborate with distributor and retailer customers to build strong relationships, conducting sales meetings with key customers to secure alignment to business plans (sell in new distribution, execute pricing actions, set up promotions, and improve shelf position).Work with external broker partners to develop and communicate key priorities for the assigned customers and to ensure delivery of objectives.Develop sales presentations and related materials and present to brokers and retailer utilizing our internal systems to generate reporting and be able to analyze, providing.Attend customer events as needed.Work with marketing to develop and then deliver on trade and promotional programming.Measure, monitor, and ensure we remain on budget for sales expenses, deductions, trade spending, etc.Understand category-specific landscapes and trends.Collaborate with demand planning to define weekly forecast (base and promo) for each of the accounts.Key Success FactorsEducation:BSc/BA in business administration, marketing or related field.Experience:Minimum 10+ years’ experience.Food Broker and Grocery Retailer Direct Account management experience required.Competencies:High level of Sales, negotiating and persuasive abilities.Strong oral and written communication skills.Experience with promotional planning and forecasting accuracy.High level of follow up with both internal and external organization.High level of organizational skills, time management and self-starter.Strong analytical skills and computer skills.Strong presentation skills and crafting a selling story.Circana / analytical skills.Team player, can work well with others, establish working relationships cross functionally.Our DEOLEO “Live Green” benefits will include:DEOLEO Welcome basket, with some of our key products & brands (Carbonell, Koipe, Hojiblanca).DEOLEO Live Green digital tour with specific focus on bringing life our end-to-end processes (from harvest to bottle).Fruit in the office.DEOLEO Employee platform discounts with lots of offers to get discount in hotels, supermarkets, car insurance, etc.Access to our
