Job PurposeThis role is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Quality systems for the Enhancers area to ensure compliance with regulatory, federal, and local laws. Areas of focus will include the identification and achievement of Quality KPI's through appropriate corrective/preventive actions and continuous improvement initiatives in the Enhancers area. This role will actively participate in all internal and external auditing activities and follow-up. Further, this role will act as support for implementation and verification of internal, legal, and customer requirements and specifications including ISO; will use KHMS-FSQ and HACCP guidelines to lead the development of new quality systems/programs across the Enhancers area and will provide Quality support/resources for major commercialization projects.Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesIdentify trends and root causes impacting FSQ KPI metrics for Enhancers department. Collaborate with department to implement initiatives to improve those metrics.Conduct investigations to understand and address root causes for consumer complaints related to food safety in Enhancers department.Actively engage in planning, defining, and directing the site auditing control program to ensure compliance with all procedures, policies, GMP standards, Kraft Heinz requirements, and regulatory, federal, and local laws.Participate in the Golden Rule and KHMS audits, as well as external and customer audits; assist with the development of procedures and follow up on corrective actions as assigned.Support the KHMS - Food Safety Pillar for the plant as outlined in the plant accountability list.Train and mentor Enhancers Production team on standard processes and ways of working to ensure FSQ program goals are met.Provide strong support to the site compliance program. Monitor and maintain the Golden Rule/KHMS program for Enhancers by complying with current Kraft Heinz regulations, customer requirements, and International Audit (FSSC/ISO) standards.Supervise a team of three Quality Technicians; train, coach, and lead Enhancers Quality Technicians to ensure FSQ program is implemented, completed, and sustained properly.Actively support the annual verifications and re-validations of all HACCP plans or when required due to project changes.Ensure all Specification/KPI/Golden Rule/KHMS-FSQ/FSSC/ISO plans are maintained and updated/approved as required. Co-lead plant bi-annual validations.Support all internal and external inspections/regulatory visits. Support audit preparation activities, accompany inspector, and complete necessary reports and postings for the Enhancers area.Perform follow-ups to non-conformances found and provide responses as appropriate. Review and approve minor change requests.Train the Enhancers team on proper inspection procedure practices. Assist in ensuring the Enhancers area is inspection-ready at all times. Provide Quality/Sanitation support for project commercialization.Ensure proper construction procedures in the Enhancers area are followed to meet site/Kraft Heinz Food safety requirements. Take appropriate steps to assure successful project startups.Support and follow proper plant safety policies and procedures.Responsible for the Hold/Release process for Enhancers products.Collaborate with the laboratory supervisor to maintain/validate/continuous improvement of all laboratory testing and equipment for Enhancers products.Have working knowledge and understanding of sanitation practices and procedures for the Enhancers department, and how they impact finished good products. Collaborate and/or co-lead sanitation projects as needed.Expected Experience & Required Skills3+ years' experience in a quality and/or technical leadership role or minimum 3 years of experience in operations/quality/technical (R&D).Strong leadership, technical, communication, and organizational skills required along with attention to detail.Advanced knowledge of quality systems, procedures, and policies is helpful. Ability to handle multiple assignments, develop work plans, and prioritize.Detailed and action-oriented.Knowledge of statistical processes is a plus.Effective communication skills (oral, written, and verbal).Planning and organizing skills.Successful candidates must possess a positive focus toward solutions with emphasis on preventative proactive measures and team-building.Work Environment & ScheduleThis position is considered a

Manufacturing plant environment with heavy machinery and equipment.

Additionally, this role requires typically 1st shift, but must be able to work shifts, weekends, and all required overtime.Physical RequirementsPhysical demands

include but are not limited to frequent activity; upright stance, keyboard or text input.
