Business Developer . The focus of this job is making connections with people, motivating and inspiring them to achieve results. Knowledge and skill in how to successfully influence and persuade others by understanding how their individual needs and motivations link to goals is essential. The job environment is fast-paced and results-oriented. Because goals and desired results can quickly change, the job requires regularly meeting and pro-actively establishing relationships with new groups. The ability to understand, quickly react and motivate others to adapt to the changing organization environment is a critical key to success.Job Duties:Drive growth through new client acquisition for Maintenance and Water Management servicesDevelop, estimate, and close commercial Maintenance and Water Management contractsEstablish strong relationships with operations personnel to ensure customer needs are metDevelop regional contacts and professional networkManage a large geographical areaParticipate in industry events as K&D Representative (occasionally nights/weekends)Grow and maintain a well-qualified pipeline of new revenue opportunitiesUse and maintain a structured sales process and CRM reporting systemResearch, understand and stay ahead of the market, customers, industry, and competitors with early identification and recommended sales strategies incorporating customer needs, trends, opportunities, and business acumenExperience/Qualifications:Align with K&D Core ValuesPossess valid Calif.
