Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Project Management (ADPM) and in collaboration with the technical Principal Investigators, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for supporting the research and business services activities in the management of research projects at the Applied Research Laboratory for Intelligence & Security (ARLIS), a Department of Defense (DoD) University-Affiliated Research Center Laboratories (UARC).The Senior Project Manager provides project management support to Principal Investigators as they execute sponsored research projects. As a Senior Project Manager, you will work with Principal Investigators, ARLIS administrative support teams and University business partners to manage scope, schedule and budget. In this role you will plan and direct all administrative tasks to expense resources responsibly, maintain project scope and schedule, follow University and federal rules and regulations, and remove administrative burden.Minimum Qualifications:

5 years of experience managing federally funded, cross-functional projects, preferably with budgets over $2M with limited guidance and supervision.Demonstrated experience managing federally funded projects involving multiple stakeholders.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to coordinate multiple assignments and review work products for completeness, quality and adherence to sponsor requirements.Demonstrated experience navigating financial systems and analyzing data sets in MS Excel.General knowledge of OMB Uniform Guidance and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).Experience building summary reports and presenting briefings to senior leadership with an emphasis on translating financial and contractual concepts into plain language.Ability to work with ambiguity.Strong oral and written communication skills.Proven ability to apply critical thinking skills to solve problems.Must be able to obtain a U.S. security clearance. If selected, you must meet the requirements for access to classified information and will be subject to a government security clearance investigation that includes criminal and credit history checks, as well as verification of U.S. citizenship, birth, education, employment, and military history.Preferences:
