Information reported by the background check will not automatically disqualify you from employment.Position Summary/Purpose of Position:Reporting to the Associate Director, Operations, the Manager Operations will be primarily responsible for managing the daily operations of the award set-up, cash management and closeout teams in Workday Enterprise Systems. Duties include ensuring timely and accurate setup of sponsored award data, payment posting, and closeout. Overall, the Manager Operations is responsible for managing the operations team duties and acting as a liaison with offices associated with Workday and offices associated with over $600M in annual sponsored programs from federal, state and private and local sponsors.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or College.7 years of professional business or financial management experience that includes experience in grant financial management.Skilled in Microsoft Office software.Supervisory experience.Preferences:Working knowledge of Workday Enterprise Systems.Working knowledge of federal grant regulations 2CFR 200 and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).Technical and management experience analyzing, evaluating, and improving automated financial systems in an environment characterized by a high volume, complex, and multiple transaction streams, basic internal controls associated with the billing and accounts receivable management.Demonstrated leadership qualities in developing and implementing complex integrated financial systems and in cross-functional efforts to improve financial and administrative processes.Demonstrated leadership ability in developing and maintaining personal contacts with campus Faculty and department Business Managers and Administrators.Ability to develop goals and objectives for the staff based on the strategic goals of the Vice President for Research Office.Knowledge and understanding of a university environment in a post-award environment.Strong written and oral communication skills.A strong client/customer service philosophy.Additional Information:No visa sponsorship for this position.
