From multibillion-dollar projects to nationwide portfolios, EBI delivers timely business insights at every phase of your project.Position SummaryEBI Consulting is seeking a Project Manager focused on Building Hazardous Materials (Asbestos, Lead, Mold, Radon, PCBs, other Hazardous Building Materials), Environmental (Phase I, Phase II), and/or Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) assessments. You will be responsible for leading or performing local inspections, as well as managing work performed by other EBI staff and/or subcontractors. This position offers the opportunity to grow into project management, senior project management, account management, and additional business development roles.This position reports to the National Manager of Building Sciences and is designated as remote/work from home. Candidates must be established in Texas, with approximately 30% travel expected.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesExecute project scope and work, revising as appropriate for project successOversee and ensure project milestones and deadlines are achieved, manage project budgets, and complete projects on time and on budgetOwnership of full project life cycle, from proposal generation through execution to project close-out and invoicingManage multiple projects/assignments concurrentlySet expectations and communicate project status to clients and internal managementCoordinate with and manage field staff, outside consultants, subcontractors, and laboratoriesAssist in developing new client relations and opportunities through contributions to major proposals and client presentationsQualifications and CapabilitiesBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field; 10+ years of related experience in lieu of degree will be considered3+ years of progressive environmental consulting experience related to Building Hazardous Materials, Environmental, or EH&S assessments requiredTexas Licensed Asbestos Inspector, Air Monitoring Tech, Project Manager, Individual Project Manager and Consultant a plus but strongly preferredTexas Mold Assessment Consultant a plus but strongly preferredApplication DisclaimerAt EBI, we cultivate a welcoming and collaborative culture.
