EBI Consulting is seeking an experienced Technician or Project Manager focused on Building Hazardous Materials (Asbestos, Mold, Lead, Radon, PCBs, other Hazardous Building Materials). You will be responsible to perform or manage local inspections, as well as manage work performed by other EBI staff and/or subcontractors. EBI has a variety of local and regional work that allows the Technician/Project Manager to learn and perform a variety of scientific studies, with a mix of field and office work. You will have the opportunity to support Operational and Business Development initiatives as part of the development of your portfolio of Environmental Consulting skills. This position offers the opportunity to grow into project management, senior project management, account management and additional business development roles.This position reports to a local Senior Program Manager within the Building Sciences group and is designated as remote/work from home. The clientele this position supports are located in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York, so candidates will need to already be established in this area. There will be approximately 75% travel expected to be successful in this position, so candidates will need to be comfortable with traveling as part of their responsibilities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Execute project scope and work, revise as appropriate for project successOversee and ensure project milestones and deadlines achieved, manage project budgets, complete projects on time and on budgetOwnership of full project life cycle, from proposal generation, through execution, to project close-out and invoicingExpected to manage multiple projects/assignments concurrentlySet expectations and communicate project status to clients and internal managementCoordinate with and manage field staff, outside consultants, subcontractors, and laboratoriesAssist in development of new client relations and opportunities through contributions to major proposals and client presentations, active participation in client meetings, and overall understanding of the environmental industryQualifications and Capabilities

Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university in related field; 5+ years of related experience in lieu of degree will be considered2+ years of progressive environmental consulting experience related to Building Hazardous Materials, Environmental, or EH&S assessments requiredConnecticut Licensed Asbestos Inspector requiredNew York and/or Massachusetts Licensed Asbestos Inspector a plus but strongly preferredApplication Disclaimer
