Position Summary & ObjectiveThe Supply Chain Analyst will leverage their IT background to optimize our supply chain operations, support efficient project execution, and enhance strategic decision-making through data analysis.Essential Functions Performed by the PositionData Analysis & Reporting:
Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights.Perform cost-benefit analyses to support procurement and supply chain decisions.
Process Optimization:
Evaluate and enhance supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely project delivery.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and streamline workflows.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for ongoing and upcoming projects while minimizing excess stock.Coordinate with suppliers and project managers to align inventory with project schedules and demands.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply of materials and services.Assist in negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable conditions.Support the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process by preparing RFQs, contacting suppliers, and following up with additional questions to gather necessary information.Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity.Monitor and respond to disruptions in the supply chain, including delays, shortages, and quality issues.Project Support:
Provide analytical support for project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with supply chain capabilities and constraints.Assist in the development of project timelines and resource allocation plans.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.Proficiency in supply chain software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, inventory management software).Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Excel, BI tools).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Technical proficiency, especially in IT systems and software relevant to supply chain operations.Qualifications

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, IT, or a related role, preferably in a project-based environment.Experience with data analysis and process optimization.
