The Cultural Influence Team is responsible for identifying and creating opportunities that deliver an unrivaled brand experience to artists, fans, and like-minded lifestyle brands. This team works collaboratively with Commercial, Marketing, Production/Manufacturing, Product Development, Content, Social and Brand to deliver tailored promotions, experiences, and partnerships both nationally and globally. The Cultural Influence Specialist - Nashville, reporting directly to the Cultural Influence Senior Director and sitting within the Global Cultural Influence team, will be responsible for supporting regional and national relationships and collaborations with artists, lifestyle brand partners, multi-media partners, and key internal stakeholders across a variety of departments and functionalities.The Cultural Specialist - Nashville will be responsible for overseeing logistics and timelines for assigned projects on behalf of the Gibson and other brands within the Gibson portfolio (Epiphone, Kramer, Maestro, KRK, etc.) to generate and expand brand exposure and brand loyalty. This encompasses collaborations and partnerships with artists and brands, product placements in TV and Film, artist and partner accommodation sales, marketing support via tailored events and promotions, and administrative support of day-to-day Cultural Influence operations.The Cultural Influence Specialist - Nashville plans, coordinates, and monitors assigned projects. He or she will share internal and external updates, manage requests and deadlines with key stakeholders, and report the results of assigned projects. In addition, the Specialist will be responsible for supporting execution and overall utilization of the Gibson Showroom in his or her market, assisting with the production of events and content that amplify Gibson’s regional/national presence and dedication to supporting our roster of artists.The Cultural Influence Specialist role is critical, as this position is responsible for the execution of key Cultural Influence collaborations, partnerships, campaigns, and marketing integrations. The successful Specialist must represent Gibson professionally and with passion in all interactions with colleagues, partners, and artists. As an important member of the team, the Specialist must reflect Gibson’s commitment to music and its makers.Willingness to dive deep into the details while keeping an eye on the bigger picture will be critical to executing impactful brand touchpoints and providing an exceptional brand experience to the company’s artists and fans. A demonstrated ability to manage projects from start to finish that result in successful brand experiences while working in a fast-paced, multi-functional, matrixed, and international team is required.Essential FunctionsCultural Influence:

Support current artist and partner relationships through oversight and execution of strategic collaborations and marketing integrations.Coordinate IP release requests and approvals for multi-media partners in TV, Film, and other platforms.Support execution of community-specific activations in the Gibson Showroom and in the field relevant to the Gibson brand, partners, and artists (music showcases, cultural events, festivals, etc.).Work cross-functionally with Marketing and other departments to amplify artist and partner collaborations through broader marketing initiatives.Work closely with ER Managers, Directors, and Coordinators to craft and execute national and global event activations as a team.Work closely with Global Executive Director, Gibson Gives to support foundation outreach events and collaborations.

Reporting:

Full and transparent communication of projects and activities is a critical element of the Cultural Influence Specialist.Collect monthly earned media reports and submit to partner agencies.Provide comprehensive recaps for assigned projects.Prepare bi-monthly visual highlights and other informational reports/analysis for management and stakeholders.

Required Skills/AbilitiesStrong organizational skills.Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and organize workload to meet organizational timelines in a fast-paced, very high-growth environment.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Required Education and Experience3-5 years of client and project management experience.Working knowledge of CRM software and reporting.Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).Knowledge of MI industry i.e. retail, e-commerce, MI press.Knowledge of music industry with existing relationships within and beyond music industry (luxury brands, media, influencers, etc.).Experience in coordinating events on regional and/or national level.Proven ability to work with all levels of management and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Personal QualitiesHigh level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.Clear thinker with outstanding ability to execute exceptional event and partnership collaborations.Able to see the big picture but possesses a pragmatic/flexible approach to delivery.Curious in nature and always looking to question, learn, and look for better ways to do things.Personable, fun, team oriented.Travel RequirementsPeriodic travel for event execution and the company’s manufacturing and sales locations will be required (approximately 10%).Physical DemandsMoving of gear and equipment is a regular part of the day to day and can be up to 50 lbs.The company’s job descriptions are not intended to be a complete detailed account of all expected/anticipated activities.
