The Procurement Analyst III performs purchasing duties according to prescribed policies, procedures and/or defined instructions in a cost effective, ethical, efficient, timely, professional manner within a customer-service oriented environment. Responsible for conducting purchasing negotiations; purchases from common and custom goods and services, to complex, difficult and highly technical transactions valued at $50,000 or less in response to campus needs. Incumbent will also transact orders valued well over $50,000 in coordination with or under the general direction of the C.P.O., Procurement Manager, or Buyer Supervisor.Purchases include a broad spectrum of materials, supplies, equipment and services across many commodity areas. Primary commodity emphasis for this particular position at this time (subject to change) is for medical, research, and IT hardware equipment, and other commodities as assigned. Medical Equipment may include but not limited to: Ultrasounds, MRI's, PET's, X-ray, various types of monitors, Cystoscopes, Stroboscopes, EKG machines, microscopes, medical lasers, exam tables and chairs. Computer Equipment may include but not limited to communications equipment, industrial and rack-mount computers, mainframe computers, docking stations, related peripherals and equipment imbedded software, and networking equipment.Remote and hybrid working schedules may be available and are subject to management approval.The full salary range for the Procurement Card Analyst is $66,500.00 - $118,300.00 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $66,500.00 - $85,900.00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time.
