Sr. Business Analyst- Customer Entitlement

Overview

You’re invited to join a small team of smart, dedicated colleagues who share a common mission: build a world-class subscription management system that will allow our customers to easily purchase, provision, and license our Esri products. As part of the Customer Entitlement Management team you will work with analysts, developers, product managers, and other business users to support the releases of our products. You will contribute to new and current product offerings, enable our customers to access, and streamline existing processes.

Since this position is located in Redlands, CA, we will offer relocation assistance if needed.

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Software Development, Customer Service, and other stakeholders to facilitate the seamless purchase, provisioning, and licensing of our Esri Commercial Software for our customersGather business requirements by conducting interviews, analyzing documents, administering surveys, studying business processes, creating use cases, performing business analysis, and analyzing tasks and workflowsAssess research findings, identify, and resolve any conflicts, break down high-level information into specific details, extract key insights from detailed information, and differentiate between desires and genuine needsCollaborate with both business and technical teams to prioritize requirements, create process models for the current and desired states, evaluate potential solutions, recommend short-term and long-term solutions, and design business processesGenerate and update analysis artifacts and deliverables as necessary, including gap analysis, business requirements, functional requirements, use cases, business rules, business process models, test cases, and user storiesGain a deep understanding of intricate product licensing rules and translate these rules and requirements into practical tasks for the development teamEffectively and autonomously participate in multiple, concurrent initiativesCollaborate on quality assurance, integration, and acceptance testing

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience as a business analyst supporting mission-critical business applicationsPossess strong analytical skills with a process-driven approach and a background in utilizing various methods for requirement discoveryStrong facilitation skills to elicit requirements from staff members at all levels across the organizationDemonstrated ability driving consensus among multiple stakeholdersExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and managementProficient in analyzing and documenting complex business processes, as well as writing and executing test plansWilling and available to actively participate in team rotation schedule for scheduled evening product releasesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or a related STEM field

Recommended Qualifications

Experience working as part of a Scrum team in an agile environmentProficient in SAP, specifically SAP S/4HANAExperience utilizing the Salesforce platformMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or a related STEM field

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is

$72,800-$135,200 USD
