The Senior HR Business Partner will be responsible for developing, managing, and implementing the HR strategy and solutions for the business groups they partner with, including organization and leadership development, workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, and employee and management coaching. The position works collaboratively with all functional HR peers and specifically has accountability to ensure all HR programs, processes and initiatives that are designed by the HR Centers of Expertise are done so from the voice of the internal customer and then efficiently operationalized and executed.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of HR plans to ensure the business needs of relevant business groups are appropriately understood and represented. Ensure HR processes and projects fit business requirements and are aligned with the people agenda.Lead the effective implementation of HR plans and initiatives across assigned business groups to ensure achievement of objectives. Partner with HR colleagues to improve processes within the organization to increase the level and quality of service provided to business groups.Facilitate the annual processes for workforce planning, succession planning, salary review and incentive bonus processes, liaising with HR partners and senior line managers as appropriate.Provide advice, guidance and information on HR matters to business managers to support decision making. Establish close working relationships to understand business objectives and requirements to assist in the timely delivery of people related solutions.Partner with HR colleagues in the areas of recruiting, training, compensation, and diversity to ensure a holistic delivery of human resources support to the business.Provide expert consultation in organizational effectiveness to business management, specifically thought leadership focused on: talent identification, development and management, resource management, strategic optimization of organizational structure, and change management-design/change processes to take organization through change transformation.Work with Senior HR Business Partners and VPs to implement business and organization sponsored initiatives.Provide work direction to HR Assistants and HR Representatives and HR Business Partners including assigning work, review progress, approving results, and providing management with input regarding the appraisal of performance as appropriate.

Key Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business; eight years experience as a human resources generalist or in several HR areas such as employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, compensation, or organizational development; or an equivalent combination of education and or experience in a related field.Initiative, determination and excellent consultative skills in order to identify problems in the early stages and provide solutions or referral suggestions.Must possess ability to advise management on all organizational matters.Knowledge of federal employment law; knowledge of state, and local laws and their impact on human resource issues.Evidenced abilities to analyze situations, conceptualize solutions, and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with involved management and staff.
